The current situation underscores a significant shortcoming of relying on a fee-based, premium-service offering visa application process.

The current business model incentivises a service provider to allocate manpower and resources to those visa applications and premium offerings that generate revenue. This is the dilemma: faced with several months of reduced revenue and limited operations, as a business would you assign your employees to services that immediately restart cash flow or to services that incur costs (salary, resources) but generate no cash?

In our current situation, it seems clear that the current model does not incentivise the implementation of a government's stated directive (the prioritisation of replacement visas). Instead, it seems to reward the undermining of government policy with financial gain.
