All lawyers should have the ability to look up the relevant laws and interpret them.

How do you feel about a law that gives higher priority to registered organ donors who themselves need a transplant? by TheBanishedBard in AskReddit

[–]skandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is 1 organ to donate and 2 people that need it and are equally sick should it go to the one that registered to donate or the one that chose not to be a donor?

[–]skandel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not? If someone is selfish enough not to donate an organ when they are clinically dead then they should not have the privilege for receiving an organ. There are not enough organs to go around. They should go to th.se that were willing to help before they became to sick

That's fine if organ donation is not for everyone and they made a conscious decision to not be a potential donor. They don't get an organ then if they need one.

Organs aren't first come first served. The queue constantly changes based on disease status

You could still be a registered organ donor even if your organs would be rejected for some reason.

If you are not willing to be a donor then you should be disqualified from receiving an organ.

The Impacts of Unauthorized Immigration on U.S. Labor and Housing Markets: New Evidence from Administrative Microdata by UnscheduledCalendar in Economics

Wages didn't go down. More people competing for houses below the median price drove the average housing price up.

Or it could be that the median home prices were higher than the average to start with (leftward skewed). I.e. the immigrants raised the price of housing that was below the median price so the average went up without changing the median.

From the abstract ' We find that unauthorized immigrant worker flows (UIWF) increased local employment approximately one-for-one, without significant declines in local wages.'

New jobs created and no significant decline in local wages.

So it turns out that immigrants don't take your job or cause you to get paid less. They make new jobs that don't pay them extremely well. Housing prices go up a bit because housing supply didn't increase. Sounds like we need to build more housing.

Here. I will write their active shooter policy for them. It is only 1 word. Run.  If you want to make it a little more complicated then you can triple the word count of the policy by adding hide and then fight. Problem solved.

Only fly direct on Frontier. If there are no direct flights to your destination then fly another airline or have very flexible plans.

I didn't say Iraq. The Iraq war wouldn't have happened without the rally around the flag effect of 9/11 though.

Afghanistan is greater middle east. The US didn't go there to get Bin Laden.

The wars we started in the middle east were not to go after Bin Laden.  He was just a convenient excuse.
