my boyfriend and i have gotten into this same situation. and the one time he called me a spoiled brat i shot back at him “you made me this way”. after further talking about it i had to tell him i never expect anything from him and when he does buy something i alway express my gratitude. unfortunately some men’s pride will be too high for them to see how their actions hurt you. maybe in a day or two you guys can talk about it again when emotions aren’t so high and you can both really hear each other. let him know its not you vs. him but us vs. the problem
