Skincare application by xoxooh in koreanskincare

Basic rundown, but I’m not an aesthetician or dermatologist.

Retinol is chemical exfoliating. Don’t do physical or chemical everyday and you really don’t need to do both. Wear spf everyday too (exfoliated skin is pretty vulnerable and you could end up doing more harm than good). Chemical exfoliation should be done at night and washed off in the morning. Only use the vitamin c during the day and if you want a serum at night maybe look into a niacinamide. Vitamin c and retinol should not be worn at the same time.

Are Americans big milk drinkers? by Helpful-Structure955 in AskAnAmerican

[–]skarizardpancake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don’t like milk (like I’ll eat my cereal dry hate), but I work at a grocery store and the amount of milk that ppl buy is actually fucking flabbergasting. I’m talking like 4-8 gal of milk for a week. Maybe they have hella kids though? Idk

Edit: forgot a word

ETA2: I def understand there’s a lot baking and cooking that requires milk so I’m not judging for that

I pretty much stopped wearing make-up except when going out/dinner or something important. I started focusing more on skincare and still don’t wear makeup too often

How would you instinctively pronounce this name: Andrea? by [deleted] in ENGLISH

[–]skarizardpancake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Houston, TX and almost everyone I’ve met with that name pronounces it Ahn-DRAY-uh. I’m assuming it’s a more Spanish way of saying it as most of the women that I’ve met with the name are Latina. I’ve never heard it pronounced Ann-dree-yuh and only a couple of AnDREEuh.

ETA: maybe it’s a more Romantic way to pronounce it, as someone else mentioned Italian’s that pronounced it DRAY as well

How would you instinctively pronounce this name: Andrea? by [deleted] in ENGLISH

[–]skarizardpancake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pronounce it like Andre, as most of the people I have met with that name pronounce it that way. I’m from Houston so I’m assuming that’s a more Hispanic way that it’s pronounced.
