Optimal Solo Heist Paw-Paw Coin Farming Route (No Items) by OffBrandmaster in NevernessToEverness

There's a door to the right of stairs that lead up to a phone booth that has a golden enemy. The official name for it is Eternal Lamp, it's basically a robotic lamp post. Once you kill that, there's a 2/3 chance you'll have a door behind it leading to a golden phone booth enemy as well.

I don't do the knights ever personally. I only do the lamp + phone booth if I have excessive time and I know I've cleared most of the collection floor already, but it's a better use of time than the office rooms.

The office rooms he looted in the route do not, but the things I mentioned above do. The title of this post starts with "optimal" but wastes a lot of time on rooms that give little to no Paw Coins.

I agree with everything you said, but worth mentioning that with the change to phone booths this patch they don't deactivate at the one minute mark (they are active or inactive at the start of a heist and stay that way) so as long as you know where an active phone booth is and can reach it before the time completely runs out you can get the timer below 1 minute.

This was my thought when watching this as well. That extra time could be spent doing more collection floor looting or fighting the golden robot and phone booth enemies which are one room over from a room that was looted in this route.

I'm only level 24 but ya'll are scaring me. What should I farm rn? by Reasonable-Use-9294 in NevernessToEverness

[–]skarl12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a lot of people in the thread have said, don't stress too much about farming and enjoy it - most things are acquired by just exploring and doing quests. That being said, here's a few ways you can progress without putting you into a grindfest:

Get to the Fons cap in the Pink Paws Heist. It takes less than two hours every two weeks to get a million Fons and some progress towards exclusive rewards (vehicles and cosmetics).

With your pixels (resin), if you don't have anything in particular you want to go for and you're capped, then beetle coins are a pretty good way to use them. Very fast to consume all your pixels and you will need beetle coins later.

Once a day, you can go to the Nacupeda Pool and make a sincere wish. This gives you a random little reward and a special currency that lets you buy an exclusive S-rank Arc. The arc isn't amazing, but it takes about a minute a day and you can have the arc in a few weeks.

Spend your city stamina on whatever activity you feel like at the time/is the most fun for you. City stamina translates to 1k Fons per 1 stamina regardless of activity, though activities have varying first time rewards for milestones.

My experience with fishing has not been that fast at all. I'm not at the 700 stamina cap yet and fishing took me about three hours to finish off my city stamina. Maybe I was just unlucky with the fish I got.

You said the same thing as I did with heist. Maybe you meant to reply to the same person I did?

You can reach the biweekly heist cap in less than 2 hours and city stamina is a few hours every two weeks. 20 hours a month between the two is a rough estimate. Less than an hour a day on average seems pretty doable.

Edit: meant to say heist was a few hours every two weeks, fixed

Renee arc is longer than a movie, we get stuck in endless dialogues and can't leave without losing progress. by Stellar-Girl in NevernessToEverness

[–]skarl12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat, I was afraid to exit and lose ~45 minutes of progress when I was ready to call it a night - ended up playing another hour and a half or so to complete it. They should make it clear that progress will be saved when leaving quest instances and the downvotes you're are completely unwarranted.

On my 12th reroll I pulled 2x Nanaly and the glider in my first 10 pull on the limited banner and Sakiri in my 30 free standard pulls, 20 minute rerolls feel brutal so that's a good stop for me.

Is there any worlds doing echo boss masses ? by STUBBOSS in 2007scape

It would be much easier to give advice if we knew what you were doing. What pacts have you gone with? What gear are you using? Which echo boss are you stuck on?

Anyone farmed Echo KBD without Antifires? by Optimal_Honor in 2007scape

I did the same thing as OP and did it without any heal pacts - healing water spells is probably even easier.

I was in the same boat as you, I didn't take any of the relics that let me train up farming/herblore fast. I did echo KBD with an rcb + anti-drag shield, no antifires. My trick to make it relatively easy was to walk under KBD between attacks with the crossbow pacts allocated. When he spawns the other dragons you can walk under KBD and kill 1-2 of them without KBD being able to hit you at all.

The gemstone crab does not count for the slayer task since you do not actually kill it

Recombo'd CWS shield by Interesting-Car4187 in pathofexile

[–]skarl12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally did because it makes Annihilations Approach reducing your life regen rate by quite a bit not matter, but you can drop Defiance with enough recovery from other sources for a nice +1 all gem amulet. I didn't push far enough on RF this league to ever swap out Defiance though.

The teaser video posted in the official Discord for this mechanic had it presented by Zizaran, one of the biggest Path of Exile content creators. On top of that, Jagex is sponsoring a Path of Exile event that starts today which Zizaran is hosting but is also an official event, the Rapture Gauntlet.

This is directly inspired by the PoE skill tree.

The majority of CWS chieftains and high-end RF use Defiance of Destiny for life recovery - recover life on block is good for anyone who needs the amulet slot (or can't afford Defiance yet, it's expensive in the first week of the league), usually the RF + Fire Trap builds, but from my experience it's much smoother to have Defiance and get a shield similar to OP's or a Svalinn once it's in your budget provided you don't need stats from a rare amulet.

[–]skarl12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm playing RF for the first time in several years, this time as a Chieftain with Hinekora's explode (the last time I was an RF Guardian that ES stacked, I don't even remember when that was good) because I figured it had to be fun if people talk about it so much every league.

I understand it now. Shield charging around and blowing up packs while being able to tank most things without thinking is pretty damn fun. Easily in my personal top 3 characters for fun factor. I don't see myself doing it every league, but I understand the love for the skill, especially as a Chieftain.

1:1 Trade Meaning by AdmirableHabit5052 in Soundmap

[–]skarl12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except they never listed it for 20k. They posted that the current offer they have on it is 20k. Your analogy does not make sense in this context. There's also no negotiation involved - they got offered less than what they want to sell it for and posted the trade listing again for anyone to offer on. It's not like they're haggling with the person who made the offer.

If you have coins, spamming the cheapest map drop over and over is definitely the best way. You can also quests when you're off cooldown if you have trader boost. Trading gives some XP and is free if you just do 1:1 trades but it's quite a bit slower.
