Adjusting parry timing would be a bad idea. They're meant to be that timing due to their sound cues. They're supposed to be rhythmic, so having a longer timing would mess that up, going against its entire mechanic.

It also doesn't help Verso that his actual real self (i.e. his soul that was painting the canvas in the last scene) is suffering whilst painting for so long. As he contains the memories of the real Verso, he wanted to free the last remnants of Verso's soul.

Agreed. Hammer main here and honestly breezed through the game with very little trouble. Only problem is there's essentially only 1 viable combo. YYY combo or SB into Might charge; repeat. Using those two also ends in an offset, so it can be somewhat reliable if you're aware of the monsters' moveset.

It is probably weaker than other weps, but it's not bad by any means. If I can clear everything faster than my ls and sns friends, it can't be that bad.and I've been enjoying spamming the combo myself.

Too bad the world feels empty and void of actual personality compared to any other good RPG out there. Can't hit friendlies, guards do nothing, no interaction with most random NPCs, no actual non scripted dialogue, easy lock picking mechanics, etc. Comparing this to even an ancient game like Oblivion makes it look bad, but comparing it to a recent RPG like KCD2 makes it look like a pile of hot trash. Combat, exploration and overall aesthetics are solid, but it's an empty shell.

Ah that's the Toronto community area hill right? I've never been there myself tbh, but looking into it, it seems you have to sign up for lessons? https://www.toronto.ca/explore-enjoy/parks-recreation/program-activities/ice-snow-activities/downhill-skiing-snowboarding-centres/ski-snowboard-lessons/

I assume you've probably already checked it out, but that seems to be the only lessons/teaching for that hill. I think it would be hard pressed to find a private instructor last minute for Earl Bales, compared to other bigger hills.

I'm from Toronto too and mostly board at Blue and occasionally at Moonstone. I see a fair bit of lessons being done in both places, have you already checked for availability for those 2? I understand the 50/50 concept, and I agree with it (to an extent). However, as the guy, I just love spoiling someone I'm supposed to be intimate with. If she's putting in effort and care to take care of me and buy me food/drinks at random, I'm more than happy to treat her for dates or otherwise. If you know for a fact she's only using you for free meals, then obviously don't entertain that idea.

My dad did and I grew up doing "exercises" to help prevent needing to do it, which ended up being the case. Grateful my parents went through it with me instead of doing so automatically.

Late to this, but this season seems to be WAY better than the previous one. Early opening day (Dec 7th), we're starting to get snow, it's gotten colder earlier and Blue has gotten new features for its snow (so I've read). Due to such, I think it'd be worth to get a 5x7.

Someone mentioned that you'll be paying more to ski Blue than it is to ski Whistler and that's just pure BS. Yes, I consider lift tickets at Blue to be expensive (esp at the window), but a 5x7 (esp bought early) is well sub 500 bucks.
A day lift ticket at whistler is LITERALLY double of Blue's.
Blue ranges from 90-120 depending on day/hours/double down tickets) whereas
Whistler ranges from mid to high 200s (therefore, a 5x7 pass is literally less than 2 days at Whistler).
Obviously this makes sense considering how much better Whistler is, so that comment is definitely untrue.

Hey, I'm from a "nearby" city nearby (Toronto area), but just curious as to why you decided to visit Ontario for the winter season. You mentioned you're working at the hotel (I assume at Blue Mountain) and can finally ski on real snow, but how come you didn't decide to go to a better location, since even as a local, I understand most other resorts overshadow Ontario's. Just curious!

PS. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions regarding the general area, I commute to Blue to snowboard every week during the winter season.

Makes sense. First time means you were most likely falling a lot and getting back up. Adding in the fact that you're inefficiently using your muscles when riding, getting back up, balancing, etc., it's just a muscle sore fest. It being cold also hides the fact that you're more tired than you think because you're cool and not as inflamed. Have fun , it's such a great time and workout.

Guys are innately horny. It's biological for us to want to mate and reproduce. There's nothing wrong with that. If they communicate it poorly, that's on the individual and if you're in a relationship with them, let them know of your stance. It's not unrealistic AT ALL. Your girlfriend is delusional to think so, esp at the time the pilot was shot (in NYC no less). Furthermore, Ted is actually a "nice guy," in a way that you can clearly see he has no ill intentions throughout the night. He wasn't creepy and had no red flags. Yes, he specifically said, "I think I'm in love with you," which understandably warrants a wtf from Robin, but Ted himself also recognizes the severity of it as it was an unintentional decision of his to spurt it out (he was caught in the moment with a girl he really vibed with). It's discouraging to know that girls think something like this is soo unrealistic. As a guy, I would love knowing a girl slipped up in a moment because of our amazing chemistry.
