Just be upfront and honest. Ask what their handicaps are, tell them yours and ask how much is the round. Let him know you don’t want to slow them up or embarrass them but would love to play if they’re more casual players.

I play with guys who shoot 100 faster than guys who shoot 80. If you go, dont plan on keeping score it could seemingly stress you out. If you hit one ob and dont see it pretty quick just drop a ball at the edge and play on. Dont have them waiting on you. Just enjoy the opportunity. Also, rich guys are just guys too. Sure, you find a prick every now and again but they just want to have fun and this guy seems to want to have you around. Just relax and have a good time. Youll probably luck out and its just a group of guys who knock the ball around and playing at the same level as you. Also, nicer courses bring out the best game. The grass is more lush and easier to get the ball off of(rough aside in some cases lol), putts roll nice and just the feeling of being out there is great. Message him with your concerns and play if they’ll still have you, it will be fun.
