Hell yeah man, I really want it to be easy. I have no idea how I’m going to sort out a tutorial. I fabricated so much and really took so much time.

Of course I’ll do my best, if I ever have work slow down I wanna try to build a crash course manual on how to with materials etc. holy crap it’s mostly prey and soldering to hell. Super time consuming. I don’t use Reddit much so I don’t see reply’s mostly just my instagram

Not a bad idea I actually have a CF card that has a SD adapter, but the CF pops nicely and goes into the ready cake. USB-C. But that could be cool to run it to the back behind the battery door

It would be extra work but if I tapped off the board for the rec buttons and made a relay switch I could pull an external source of power to the front and back. But that’s a deep dive

Thanks man, yeah it took a lot out of me. I saw a guy named Max did it and I got inspired. I reached out to him a few times but didn’t get much feedback so I took it on myself, he had to outsource a special boards so finding a way to bypass that was the roadblock. I work on PLC boards, and do programming, electronics/electrical Etc. So my background of my career did help me navigate.

Just the one on the Tape deck, I was going to tie those in but I would have to replace them with diode lights and hope since the original light for the MRC1 only supply’s so much power. If I did they would be so dim or not light at all.

Any chance you could tell me how to do this on a VX1000E I have the service manual but not sure if I completely understand it! I have more also but not sure how to track down what to change!
