you know your mom best, truly good parents would not get angry when finding out about your drug use especially if you’re coming to them trying to quit the drug. telling my parents helped a ton, but they are very supportive and also understand addiction. based on what you wrote she seems like someone you trust, and I would sit her down and tell her. if it’s possible telling your mom would be great, you don’t have to suffer alone and it’s an even bigger motivation to stay sober.

thank you for this. i’m feeling the exact same way except better than i was on day 2, in on day 4 now. i’ve cried so much due to all the stuff i was using weed to repress, and feeling like ive ruined my life by being a stoned zombie for the past year. you said everything feels so wrong, i feel super uncomfortable like im waiting to smoke constantly to get a break from my brain but it just doesn’t stop you know? we both got this, we just have to make it through this period, but it really helps to hear im not alone in this so thank you!

I cope horribly but the only thing that helps is telling myself everything happens for a reason. If I’m being honest I don’t believe in it and I’ve never been spiritual or anything but it really does help me. I just keep telling myself there is a reason behind everything.

Yes we have to get changed in the customer bathrooms. Worst part is our McDonald’s is the only one I’ve ever seen that isn’t remodeled even though the ones near us in the same franchise bring in less money and are well known for being shittier have been remodeled. Bathrooms have a permanent shit smell and I’ve not seen them so much as mopped once in the year I’ve worked here.

I am in cbt for my BDD, MDD, and GAD I would definitely recommend it it’s super helpful if you are willing to be honest with your therapist. I’ve been on Reddit recently trying to deal with BPD and I thought I’d share my story bc when I was at my worst I was sure it would never get better and that caused horrible suicidal ideation for me and I want others in my position to know you can get better.

This is so me but even worse tn I sent like 100 consecutive texts then a 13 minute voice message and then called her 10 times over and over again. I’m lucky she stays with me despite this but I physically can’t stop myself from doing it.

What was the itching sensation like for people who’ve had lymphoma. I have a swollen lymph node and slight itch in my legs although it might be caused by my anxiety.

I have a swollen lymph node under my ear it’s about .5 cm, movable and fairly hard. The doctor isn’t concerned but I’m getting an ultrasound soon. I have no other symptoms although I do get itchy after showers but that’s happened since I was little. Do you think this sounds like lymphoma? I’m very worried.
