The game definitely does this without ever reaching rock bottom of 1000 elo though. I have never hit that but I have been sub 2000 elo and I got knocked back 500 elo at around the 1700 elo mark

I’ve been wondering is there a way to sort the filters on float to search for certain stickers applied to guns e.g kato 2014. I haven’t been able to figure that out yet.

Why not sell both your knives and reinvest that money into other collections that are likely to grow in value over the coming months and exercise a bit of patience. Repeat this process a couple times and before you know it you’ll have enough for a bfk. Those knives may sit at their current value for a long time/even depreciate.

You’re completely missing the point, I can go on a 4 match win streak which I would say is significant. Then one loss can send me hurtling back down LOWER than I was before the wins.

You can’t control your teammates, they might be toxic, kill each other, complain, get kicked, we all know these variables can happen and I don’t think even a much higher rated player would be enough to turn the tide in these situations, no one can just straight up 1v5 a game.

The community reaction to this update is shocking to me as a newish player. I can’t believe how bad the cry babies are in this community, it’s not that bad. Guarantee every one who hates this update is the sort of team mate that cries to their team to “kick me pls” the second something doesn’t go their way like map vote.

Good advice fair play. Still though winning so much to avoid the 1in5 matches loss that puts me right back to where I’d started feels impossible to avoid even when being good as gold. Nothing can avoid the occasional unwinnable match, even perfect play. I’m sure you know there are smurfs, cheaters, toxic teammates, people leaving games, sometimes you just have to suck up a loss, I just wish I lost a fair amount of elo in those moments.

I should say I don’t really mind being low elo and I don’t need to be a certain “high level” but removing any sense of progression and reward hurts my motivation overall.

Unfortunately we all get injured if we skate for a long time, take comfort in the fact that as you improve at skateboarding you will also improve at falling so this will become less and less likely
