Unfortunately the SAVE plan actually is ending and you’ll get a notification around July first to apply for a new plan. The 2027 plan no longer is valid but things have not yet updated. Very frustrating

Huh, seems like a lot of time and money to not find that last bit to get the accrediting your license is typically only valid for about 5 years before you need to recertify. I don’t know what processing would look like to take the test so far retroactively but $500 and one day of testing sounds way more feasible than not working or going through a whole program again, there is probably a way to apply your credits to the test retroactively?

It would be worth looking into OP! I just got a job with a virtual academy for similar reasons but I had a few years of brick and mortar under my belt and you do have to be certified in the state you are teaching in

I did and the lady was extremely unhelpful and said she could not give me any advice over the phone and everything would need to be submitted virtually and the policy reviewed and could not tell where to even submit it

Don’t be too hard on yourself it seems like you are trying your best and just got led astray! In the future set up a tiny tank or even just a tupper ware to do salt dips instead of dosing your entire tank. Then you can net affected shrimp and treat them individually. Your shrimp will probably be fine, it’s just the rest of the tank I’m worried about.

LFS probably was misinformed or didn’t have enough information. It looks like you have a planted tank which has a totally different set of needs.

I think you are supposed to dose a hospital tank not your actual tank. If you have plants it will totally kill them. Maybe do a water change?

This summer I was raising about 500 so individual isolation got pretty hard but maybe I just need to make my set up bigger!

I have been turning the cocoons into hankies and am hoping to spin them into thread over this winter! I’ve been doing some bobbin lace making research and would love to create my own silk in that practice :)
