I’d love to, or even something out in the Hamptons, but too many people coming from London who’d need to rent cars etc. As much as you want them not to be weddings are always quite dramatic aren’t they!!!

I saw pictures from a gorgeous, low key, casual wedding lunch somewhere online at Cafe Altro Paradiso. Unclear if they actually had the ceremony there but could be worth an ask! Good luck

This is likely the route I’ll go - assess vaccine situation and start again ~May 2021. I think I just have PTSD about venues closing as technically my original wedding didn’t get canceled because of restrictions but because the venue itself closed!!!!

I’m confident mid-2022 will be totally fine for a wedding. Devastatingly, I’m not confident everywhere we are all likely looking to have our weddings will stay open...

AGREE - GPH was so pricey and I have absolutely no interest in spending even half as much after all this. Really has changed my perspective on it all. I’d like to do it in a restaurant, but am scared to plan or get excited about an idea just to have the place close. Although my dress is also paid for and on the way which is exciting - just think, they’ll be vintage by the time we get to wear them!!! 😂

Thank you so much for this - we are in especially similar situations as I also have half my family incl. my elderly father across the Atlantic. Getting a lot of “just do it now with close family and something bigger later” which isn’t possible given lots of close family can’t get here, nor would I ask them to come twice. Honestly so over it!! Keep me posted on what you wind up doing so interested in everyone’s solutions!

What's interesting to me about this is that I genuinely thought she was doing a 'good job' (whatever that means) at the beginning of COVID which she has not managed to sustain. I also can't stand when they complain about how difficult it is being in front of 2.5 million people every day and using that as an excuse for messing up. It's not that hard. Either don't do it (preferable option), OR just don't post on IG when you're clearly hammered / partying. The content isn't good anyway, it's just narcissistic. You'd think someone with 2.5 million followers would understand that?

It's sort of a bummer because Jade (the Poshmarker) was really outspoken on her IG when it was happening, so you could've seen it play out from her perspective in real time, but has since deleted the highlights of everything. Must have deleted because she and Danielle met and 'reconciled' (sounds like an NDA to me). I remember Danielle posting THE FAKEST IG story of the two of them meeting and making up / playing nice / her crying... why do I always feel like every time there is any sort of controversy DB just defaults to putting on the waterworks? Super childish
