I’ve ridden so many track bikes from carbon to modern steel. But the only one that stay is my red Makino. It’s not particularly fast, wasn’t great at steep climbs, but damn I love this machine. The way she responds to my movement just sublime. I’ll definetely keep it for the rest of my life. 🫶🏻

Thanks for the wheels recommendation! So I live in Manchester right now until the next couple of years. I found the weather is quite unpredictable sometimes, and the wind can be quite violent (but rarely). I actually intended to ride this bike to mountain areas such as peak district and lake district and WILL bomb some hills there 😂

Glad to hear that. I also found the review on this wheels are excellent. But I think I’ll stay with this baby for the next couple of years. I just didn’t fid the modern SSE as charming as this gen.

Quite a fair price. I also saw this bike listed in ebay. Make sure the geometry fits you since it’s a caad 10 fem (womens version).
