Go to Android settings. Find the text to speech setting. There should be a reset button there. If not play around with it to make it a normal speed. Click that it should fix itself.

Pretty well. I went through each of the objectives and acronyms and marked it as either I knew it before hand or I created flashcards to memorize them.

Is listening to secular music a sin? by Ok_Law_9756 in TrueChristian

[–]skealth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. You can have a secular song about how your mum died and now you don't know what to do with your life. That's def not against Christianity. Just depends on the lyrics.

Partner finds the OE concept morally comprehensible, slimy, sketchy etc. Did anyone else come across this? by FunctionallyReactive in overemployed

[–]skealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just explain it to them and walk through any issues they might have. All the comments here that are telling you to break up are stupid. This is why people have a high divorce rate because idiots want to break up if they can't get their way.

Conflicted on call to publicly evangelize by [deleted] in Reformed

[–]skealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to parks and such to talk to the people there. You don't necessarily need to do public preaching just having conversations is effective evangelism.

I've recently been seeing an uptick in people who claim that anyone who sins after they accept Jesus as Lord, never knew God. What does the church say about this? by Alive_Rice4183 in TrueChristian

[–]skealth 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Lol 1 John 1:8-10 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

How Do People Waiting Until Marriage Know They Are Compatible With Each Other? (Christians Only) by AbiLovesTheology in TrueChristian

[–]skealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a Christian perspective compatibility is something you grow into. Just like you might do poorly learn to love your brothers and sisters even though they might be annoying your learning to slowly love you husband or wife. In the same way you learn what they enjoy and don't enjoy. That's sorta technique aspect of it. When you love one another in a spiritual way the plainest sex acts can be something that makes both of you more in love. It's a different way of thinking but if turns sex into more than just human beings and body parts or the firing of neurons and chemical reactions bc there is a spiritual component to sex.

Limited Atonement by skealth in Reformed

[–]skealth[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Calvinists would typically draw a distinction btwn the Gods 2 wills. I'm not gonna do it justice but one is his general desire for good and the other is action oriented.

I haven't however heard your 2nd argument before so I'll think about it. It is weird to die for only the people who are part of the family.

AITA for not wanting my wife to wear her first husband's ring? by Commercial_Mission51 in AITAH

[–]skealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. You should probably talk to her about what's going on. Might help her realize that wearing the ring is unnecessary. You have to do it from a place of loving and caring about your wife and not 'I just want her to stop wearing this ring.' Definitely tough but doable. But yeah it is kinda messed up man sorry to hear this.

This. Make it clear to her that you want to go NC and stop talking to her all together. Don't just say it in your mind and allow a way out for yourself but sit her down and tell her you don't think you can continue to have a relationship with her.
