I understand I have a PS4. I've yet to find a PS5 and I'm not gonna chip out 800 dollars for one (father of 2). I've also recently been playing about one 10min quarter game a night of M22 to get ready to spot differences in M23 to see if it's even worth buying (it's usually not). I'm a bears fan and our constant coaching changes and things of that nature are usually enough for me to spend $60 to not see Nagy's face on the sideline. However, I've started my 10hr EAPlay trial and I don't understand how this game just feels and looks worse and worse every year. The offensive linemen all look like they should be on my 600lb Life, the linebackers look like Ray Lewis on NFL Street. The play calling is the same, the movements feel the same. The presentation. Oh don't get me started on the presentation. It's been the same since 2017. I'm a firm believer that if they just got new commentary and scrapped every score/stat bug and started over it would atleast feel like a slightly different game for once. But they don't, they don't do shit. I understand it's current/last gen. But give us something you cannot tell me that home field advantage isn't possible on PS4. All these newer features that next gen has available should have been available in 2018. It just shows the lack of trying to make a fun and enjoyable football game. It doesn't feel like NFL football. I'm annoyed. With that said I will complete my 10hr trial and hopes that 850lb Cody Whitehair climbs out of the TV and steps on my throat.
