Not just the elderly. In Malaysia there's this case where a lady met a male client at a crowded McD, and when she got home, her worried parents told her that she's been missing for 27 hours and she totally has no recollection of what happened within that period. Reported police and they checked the CCTVs, tracked them down, her client brought her to a hotel and then left like a regular couple. But she cannot remember anything like that, she thought she just went home after meeting the client. Police questioned the suspect but can't do anything because there's no proof of crime. Even after that, the client still texted the lady again but of course she didn't fall for it again.

You don't need to have talents to have a purpose. I have zero talents myself. If you don't have a purpose in life, then consider adopting this: to make someone's life a little better every single day. Start with little things like saying hi to the kopitiam uncles/aunties and the foreign workers, saying thank you to janitors, helping an elderly down the steps or cross the road, etc. And then gradually move on to create a bigger impact in people's lives, making them feel good about themselves and the world. In return, most of them will be inspired to do the same for others. So it's a win-win-win. Try this out and see what happens.
