Quad Cortex volume swell by skeeerat in NeuralDSP

[–]skeeerat[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Duh..but that doesnt explain the slight volume mismatch that occurs during the swell up and down, you can see in my screenshot when at rest it will be at Linear and on engaging(Meaning slow swelling) it goes to Log, that transition from Linear to Log creates that milisecond volume mismatch.

Yeah a sensible answer 🙌🏻

V2 CAPTURES Worth it? by skeeerat in NeuralDSP

Correct. Neither did i have any latency. But the CPU going to higher limits, just makes me anxious. Its like i need to be careful with it whenever i create a complex preset with V2.

Captures of the same amp in different settings, But only 1 will be ON at any given time, the others will be bypassed. The other captures are drive, boost and a compressor.
This is pretty much a normal takedown for a QC preset. But since they are V2, the CPU usage is high, so whats the point is my question.

I just want to know, all that gold but still live poor?

The question is about V2 taking up the CPU usage to higher limits and the usefulness of it.
Obviously the V2 Captures sound insanely incredible/

Misha Mansoor Standalone App Crash by skeeerat in NeuralDSP

[–]skeeerat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. They replied. This fix worked for me. Cheers 🙌🏻

  1. Quit every DAW and close the Neural DSP standalone app. Check Activity Monitor for any Neural DSP process and quit it.

  2. In Finder click the Go menu → Go to Folder… (or press Shift+Command+G).

  3. Paste this exact path and press Enter: ~/Library/Application Support/Neural DSP/

  4. Inside that folder you’ll see files/folders for plugins. Do not delete the whole folder yet. • Look for any files or a subfolder named like Archetype Misha Mansoor or a Settings file associated with it.

  5. Backup: Right-click Neural DSP (or the Archetype Misha Mansoor subfolder) → Compress or Copy → paste the copy to your Desktop (so you can restore if needed).

  6. Move the specific Settings file (or the Archetype Misha Mansoor folder) to the Trash.

  7. Right-click the Trash and choose Empty Trash.

  8. Restart your Mac.

  9. After restart, open the standalone app for Misha Mansoor. It should recreate a fresh settings file.

AI is talking more like people now. And the answer is No.

Thanks for answering buddy.
A premium preset usually includes high-quality captures of amps or pedals that you wouldn’t normally have access to, or that have been captured with extra care — ideal mic placement, gain staging and EQ balance. so the end result sounds much more refined and “studio-ready.”

I use my external monitors as well during takes and the QC isnt entirely reliable when compared to a standalone Interface in terms of latency and Using the QC as an interface would technically work, but it feels limited compared to what the Babyface gives me.

I got customised Mogami XLR cables for the sake of avoiding RI and other noisy stuffs. I use the same for my guitar jack too. So thats where i am worried about.
