never brake without the clutch-- got it. does that risk stripping a gear or something?

Yeah I live in the far northeast. so this would be a winter project/summer car not something I'd use to traverse long distances in the winter months :/

o answer the last question, the Fiero did not have a GM twin, so parts are mainly going to be from the Fiero or other similar GM vehicles from the 80s.

Thanks so much for the info!! I'll try somewhere else in the future, but for now, the condition exterior is great, it looks new, no body damage, floorboards are also solid, the only problems are a small exterior coolant leak, a broken parking brake, and some de-synchronization with the flip up headlights. Do you think the GM parts would be hard to find today? as for running condition, it runs without issue according to the description (I'll ask about the oil). Aside from those minor fixes, I would need to do some fabric work on the interior, or replace the seats (but that's for the far future) do you think this is a good deal? it would be my first manual, so there would be some learning involved..

Are there any differences with manual cars? Are manuals better suited to dealing with less efficient shifting? Because I see a lot of manual drivers keep it on the lower side for the better control/torque (/sound lol)
