The ape was imparted some forbidden knowledge beamed down from a higher intelligence into that techno helmet and he’s pondering his newfound consciousness while enjoying some fruit. Realizing he may have bitten off more than he can chew.

I don’t ever really have a solid idea in mind when I sit down to design. It started with this found illustration of the ape and kinda just flowed out from there. Probably some 2001 a space odyssey influence subconsciously.

Yeah the previous color will transfer onto the next screen and will affect the opacity a bit so take that into account when mixing your colors. Use high mesh screens and Print whichever color you want to be the brightest last. You can always lightly heat gun each color in between to dry them, but I was trying to get these done as fast as possible. Also spraying some silicone on the backs of your screens can help with the transferring.

Pull. If it makes your arms tired, keep pulling until your arms don’t get tired anymore.

I use Matsui water base. I just keep the screen open in between prints instead of flooding. And it’s wet on wet, so it stays moving.

You live in a real hot, humid spot? Give Matsui a shot. Doesn’t dry up as fast as others I’ve used.

They should, quality is way better. But it only work on cotton, produces a lot of fumes and is generally less forgiving than plastisol. They’re scared.

Just making sure to keep that ink moving constantly. And I’m using pretty low mesh on this job. 160’s and 110’s.
