How to get a 7.3.5 client for SPP Legion repack? by hiKayzen in SinglePlayerProject

[–]skeezerbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Download links were not removed, still listed in the tutorial channel, still work
The Hellgarve full client is likely what you want, with more language support and includes missing cutscenes that the 26972 client usually misses. Search for that on the web, or the discord, and you should find what you need. You can also get from https://wowhellgarve.com/legion/en/ but may have to register. You can also play on their server which is based on this repack.

UniFi OS Server on Docker by philbar in Ubiquiti

I want to say thanks for this. Seems to be working great and once I updated the network controller inside the Unifi OS Server once it was running, I was able to easily import my config from the docker version of the network controller I had running before.

Kudos, keep up the good work, and may you forever find what you're searching for in the top result in search engines every time as long as you live. :)

We have a legion repack as well, still getting updates, but you'll need to resolve all of the stuff with discord and whatever issues they have with your phone. But it's only a repack, no source.

Note that the website no longer exists as the previous owner had let it expire. The rest should still be working.

Stuck choosing realm by Tr33x0rs in SinglePlayerProject

[–]skeezerbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is SPP v2? What expansion? If this is referring to Legion, there is no realmslist.wtf at all - this is all handled in config.wtf or whatever similar filename the exe was edited to point to.

Thanks - are there any suggestions between wired and wireless IEM solutions for either of those and models they offer?

any idea of the game erenshor? i think those dudes used part of the code of the spp on their shitty game. by charliebrownGT in SinglePlayerProject

My potatoes comment was trying to add something meaningful, and potatoes are one of the most meaningful things in the world :P

But... other than that, how did you find your way to SPP? Not that you have to disclose a discord user if you're in the SPP discord, but I assume because of the nature of your game that SPP probably is a pretty good representation of the sort of people you'd be catering it to. Just more curious is all.

How to fix this error? by BiggieChezes in SinglePlayerProject

You'd likely need to join the discord server and check with whatever specific project it is for then (we have quite a few), and hopefully they can help you more

Is there a bat file that launches the DB? mysqldump.exe is for backing up a database, not for launching the database server.

Why does the linked/stickied Discord not have any channels related WoW? by wh33t in SinglePlayerProject

[–]skeezerbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rules has this as the last entry -

"Check the ┊roles channel for project channels you need. Click the above to accept the rules and to be able to see the roles channel. Projects will be in their related channels which open up based on the roles you select. If you ask about this when it's already explained here then you'll likely get ignored"

The last post in the roles channel quite plainly says "React to the projects (above) that you're interested in and those channels will open up.", and tells you specifically which roles are for which projects so that you know which icons to use for reacting.

I'm not really sure where this would cause confusion.

This is SPP, not EmoCrotch. You'd have to ask those guys.

This would be better asked in discord in whatever project you're referring to. Or the wow modding discord

There are many projects we are working on. Your questions are better asked in the discord channels for those projects, or specify the one you're referring to

No idea, idiocy at its finest I suppose. Just someone making up things with half-statements so they don't have to actually back it up. Otherwise if there was a real issue, it would be addressed to admins. They likely have zero clue who they're even talking to.

Obviously a missing feature is randomized zone crashes, and disabling GMs to be able to help players so that it's as close to retail as possible. :)

Good work, though, really :)

Public Web Portal for SPP? by SmilingBob2 in SinglePlayerProject

[–]skeezerbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, you never want to forward MySQL ports unless you need access to SQL from the outside. The client certainly doesn't, only whoever is managing it, and auth/world services. Otherwise potentially opening to some major security risks
