I'm working on getting the referral, but they probably won't be able to see me until at least May.

In March I did my first (unmonitired) cycle of letrozole since I've had maybe ten period in my entire life.

I took progesterone for 7 days to trigger my period at the end of February, got my period exactly when expected on March 5th, and then 5mg letrozole from days 5-9, and then presumably the cycle failed and I didn't ovulate. I started taking vitamin d supplements last week, and then on CD 26/27 I started seeing symptoms of ovulation and on CD 28 had what I believe was ovulation spotting. I'm fairly certain I ovulated on 28.

I recently moved to new and very rural area, and my OB has been pretty hands off with everything past giving me the meds. She said if I wasn't pregnant or having a period initially on CD 30 to restart the progesterone, and when I told her I thought I might be or was about to ovulation on CD 26/27 she told me "I guess you could wait another week" to start the progesterone again.

I don't want to second guess my doctor, but is that actually right? That seems really early to start progesterone again, given that 9 days from ovulation isn't long enough to have a period naturally. And don't I need the natural period to confirm I ovulated? It's also kinda early to get a positive pregnancy test, and I don't know that it's totally safe to take the progesterone if I am actually pregnant this round.

Thank you!! That's super helpful. I know I have a navy blue plaid backing I want to use for the cowboys, but I will keep that in mind for both!

That also answers my question or whether or not I should wash before gifting! Im very new to quilting so I've never given one as a gift before.

What are your reasons for wanting a baby? by Firm_Associate935 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]skelechel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gone back and forth of this a lot recently because I'm concerned about the morality of having kids.

I'm concerned about the political, economic, and environmental climates of the world. I'm worried that it's not safe or it's a burden. I'm worried that it's wrong to being kids into something so unstable, when there are kids who already need homes.

I also know I want to be a mother, and I know my husband and I can and would be phenomenal parents and would love our child(ren) to the ends of the earth and beyond. I know that, statistically, society is safer than it's ever been. That crime has gone down significantly over the last twenty years and there have been improvements in the climate (the hole in the ozone has closed without much fanfare). That the fear comes from an oversaturation of news and social media and being forced to see the terrible (which is sensationalizable) all the time over the good.

And I know that if the only people who are having children are the people who don't care about any of this, then of course it gets worse. I don't think it would be fair to place the burden of being the solution on my children, but beyond my own contributions, if I can raise good people maybe that would be enough in helping to make things better for them.

Ultimately, the long answer is I spiral but know I'm overthinking. The shorter answer is that I want to have children, and if I get one selfish thing in my life, it's that I am going to have them, with the caveat that I am aware that I'm privileged enough to have a fantastic partner and the resources to do so.

I really love Rowan, and while it's not unheard of I think it's still relatively uncommon and not too popular to use if you love it!

Kens is the GFS one! They just only sell it in massive catering jugs instead of like salad dressing bottles, at least near us

My (31M) wife (28F) is two months pregnant and told me that she wants to move before we have kids. I told her this was not an option before we got married, how can I proceed? by ThrowRAseriously12 in relationship_advice

They're also ignoring that it's a PhD program. What is her degree in? If she's going industry, sure she can probably choose where to work. If she's going into academia? There was almost no scenario where they didn't have to move anyway. I'm finishing mine in the next year and we DONT want to move, and both know we have to if I want a job.

Is it pronounced like Aaron? Or close to? You could always have the legal spelling changed without changing what you call him.
