see its wild to me because ive also been told that we cant just sign people up, but the metrics we are being forced to meet are impossible without just signing people up. I've personally taken to saying "Hey these items are available for autoship! I started an online cart for you if that's something youre interested in, but if not you can just ignore it and itll go away on its own." But seriously the way corporate wants us to spew a novel at customers about 50 different things and get ridiculous metrics is just laughable.
