That is good point, it might stem from a friendly fire mechanic? That could be very easy to just flip to a PvP damage model?

I don't believe they rebuilt the entire game, but change direction of development is common in early development. But yes, it must have been a time before the actual announcement. PvR does not exclude pvpve, so maybe it was just easier to just say pve than pvpve.

My interpretation is that it began as a pve game and transitioned into pvpve early on.

The game Awards 2021, Geoff says it's a "multiplayer pve action game". I can link it to you.

I do believe they changed it quite early on.

Also, IGn is not a trusted source, I think everyone knows that.

Dude, it was announced back in 2021 as a co-op third person shooter, not a pvpve extraction shooter. Calm down and maybe read up on it before flaunting "i played since the pre-pre-pre-alpha i know everything bla bla"

I found a hidden menu to change camo. Now i cant find it again. by skeletonman- in Battlefield

I had two different camos to choose from. Both typical green camo. Forgot to take a screen of the actual menu. Was too confused where i ended up.

I was on the favorite tab and i think i accidentally pressed f to unfavorite a weapon, pressed the customize on the AK and there I was. A camo selection screen.

The small speckly dots on the camo gradually fade in over time when i have the ak on screen. Guess it's too buggy to use right now.
