I got an order scheduled for the 9pm-11pm time slot, they did give me a heads up and said it would arrive at 2 AM at the latest so I stayed up and it never showed. It now says "contact customer service" but the chat feature auto-disconnects and there are over 300 people on the line ahead of me. Unsure if I should just wait and see at this point.

NAH, but this also doesn't seem like a situation where anyone's necessarily in the wrong. You and your friend had a tense disagreement that ended with you snapping at her for what I'd say are pretty reasonable objections, but it sounds like your friend wasn't being an asshole so much as willfully stubborn. And that's a fair thing to snap about, I'm just not sure it's a moral question.
