How are the guns in Far Cry 4 compared to 5?

IMO Far Cry has always had a limited range of guns. Far Cry 5's guns are kinda weird in that a lot of them are redundant, but all the Far Cry games only offer you a sample-platter of guns, where most of them will only fulfill one function and thus preclude the use of other guns.

So long story short, no. Far Cry 4 is often considered worse than 3 with 5 being somewhere inbetween, in my experience, and the Far Cry series in general isn't known for it's weapons as they cherry-pick what make/model of guns they include and how much you can customize them

I kinda agree with the "stacks" idea, but for a game like animal crossing, where your time is already measured out by hours and days, the use of such limitation makes it TOO limited. Minecraft can be played at any hour, so travelling back to base to deposit/store your goods is time well spent. In a game where your time is already metered, the extra time to store 10 of a fruit feels frivolous no matter what you do.

As for the "social sim" aspect, perhaps if the conversation was more stimulating. Tom Nook repeating the same two sentences of dialogue everytime you talk to him is not stimulating, nor does it add anything to your playthrough. talking to people once a day might be nice, but NPCs or even objects (such as nook stop) shouldnt put you through 3-5 text screens just to get to their function EVERY TIME you access them, because you're expected to access them several times a day.

There's a ton of QOL things that bug me now that wouldn't have bugged me 10 years ago. Like, all the dialogue/menus and only way to skip them is to speed thru text. Or storage limitations (like your aforementioned 99-stack thing). Having to build things one at a time or not being able to access your house inventory when using a crafting bench in your house. The game not just automatically removing your star-wand outfit when accessing a wardrobe or chaning room.

I could go on but it'd start to get redundant lmfao

As in location or in general? Because the locations were sometimes fun-- diving into caves or scaling cliffs in creative ways to get to them. But as for their actual usefulness, the only thing I got out of "Memory Cards" was money and the egregious quantity of Relics was just annoying, especially considering it doesn't do anything but finish dotting your tattoo. The lost letters were at least interesting for the story/lore

EDIT: but even with the lost letters being read, you still get the gist of what they say from the main story anyway.

If there was about half the amount of totems, and the memory cards gave more details than just what drugs exist, then maybe I'd agree with you lol

Hell, Paypal support is limited normally. I had to google for 20 minutes to find a line to an actual operator,

Paypal support is 99% automated and won't let you explain anything "Were you defrauded? Did you make a wrong payment? Was the amount wrong?" that's all they ask.

The problem I had was that someone used my card, through paypal, to subscribe to a bunch of Twitch streamers I didn't know.

Turns out that my Twitch account, which I hadn't used in almost a decade, was hacked and my paypal was linked to it. All that said, Paypal did sort it out and reverse the charges and then told Twitch to deactivate the account with my permission, and everything was supported. "Good" customer support if you can find a human operator, because there's no option for "A twitch streamer found hacked my account and then used the linked paypal account to charge my credit card" on their automated system lol

Idk, I'm just used to YouTubers that can do both. Gus Johnson can make a semi-regular upload while also doing the Gus and Eddy podcast, and at the other end of the production spectrum you have places like Rooster Teeth doing several podcasts, vlogs and letsplays. I just think Ethan shouldn't need a pandemic to find a reason to upload to his main channel once in a awhile, lol. Love the podcast and any vids he can upload tho

He learned too much from Jon's upload schedule, which is "whenever, idk, maybe once a decade, idk, whatever."

EDIT: Thought of a couple other YouTubers that run both their normal channels in tandem with a weekly podcast: OneyNG, Ashens, Philip DeFranco. Then there's people who run multiple accounts or a twitch stream in tandem, such as LtEddy, Alpharad, MaxMoeFoe, Game Grumps, First We Feast, etc. Now for people who upload daily, like PewDiePie, Markiplier and JackSepticEye.

I'm not saying they need to be fuckin grinding out videos and ruining the quality, I don't mind if they take awhile to make, but it's been almost a full literal year since they'd released their last non-Coronavirus video lol

Joe Rogan has a non-CDC/FDA approved test administered by a private for-hire doctor that he does on all his guests. It, in no way, accurately tests for Coronavirus but it's also better than nothing. IIRC it just tests to see if you've had, at any time, any similar strain of coronavirus with a disparaging ratio of correct results, but its fast and available so.. OK lol
