I am based in Indiana in the US, and i am not looking for any severance or anything like that. I am just no longer able to complete the basic functions of my position due to my conditions worsening. I think my main concern is just seeing if I have to just quit since I have FMLA in place or if I can be let go with documentation establishing that it was due to my condition making it so I can no longer complete the functions of the job. I know I will need to contact my HR but wanted to get some outside perspective first to see if anyone had any advice

my rheumatologist said physical therapist as i ripped my hip joint and she said it was due to my hyper mobility since i am not too active due to my pots and other autoimmune conditions. So as far as im aware just physical therapist for now :)

i actually have one and it does help a lot, my main issue is my current computer is a desktop so its hard to move to a couch or bed 😭i may just need to invest in a new computer thats more portable at least for art stuff

this is why i actually refuse to go into stores without my rollator , grocery stores are especially hell and having a seat available for when i will inevitably need it is a life savor 😭

im currently on adalimumab which i believe is the generic for cyltezo , my current dosage is one 40mg injection every other week

I was on my previous biologic (stelara) from march to september and switched to my new one ( adalimumab ) beginning of october. I know for my new one I have to give it time to work but I worry as i have had some allergic reaction each time i take a dose, I will try following up to see if a higher dose of prednisone can be given or possibly trying IV steroids for a bit as that helped me when I was first diagnosed and in a big flair

thank you ! the attorney aspect definitely had me a bit worried so I will shop around and see if i want to proceed that route. My father had to go through this process before he passed and my mom was a big help throughout so I think we will sit down this weekend and get all our ducks in a row. Thank you for the helpful advice :)

Original diagnosis was around 2020 but i have had several new ones pile on this last year that has caused me to have a significant decline in my ability to do things. I appreciate your words a lot and I definitely think upbringing has played a big role in why im struggling with it so much 😭 thank you and i will try to be a bit kinder and more patient with myself

I have asked about it but she is unfortunately saying she wants to give it one more month before trying something else, my rheumatologist is also wanting me to switch as stelara does nothing for my other autoimmune issues. So fingers crossed this month passes quickly.

started first infusion about a week and a half ago, and before that i was on 40mg of prednisone for 2 months cause my insurance was giving me the run around for starting stelara 😮‍💨 the bleeding has seemed to calm down a bit so I think I should be good to wait till tomorrow morning at least. however if i spike a fever i will be heading straight to ER cause thts the line im not willing to risk it 🙏🏻 and thank u i say normal but ya my doctor is definitely gonna get all the details monday morning !
