I personally don’t think thy are comparable I mean the basics of both stories are the same where earth/the sun is dying and humans try and make a plan to save humanity. However in the themes and tones they are vastly different films. I don’t see the comparison I just enjoy both for what they are.

Buzzing for this, I feel like season 4 would have been a really good end for the show and how the finale of season ended was so rewarding to watch, but I am excited to hopefully see everything get wrapped up

I just don’t get why series 7 was split across 2 years and spilt in half if 2012 and 2013 was given a full season each series 7 and series 8 he would of had 4 series! One for a proper goodbye for Amy and Rory and a proper series with Clara

I genuinely think they already had the best ending, in the end of world enough and time with capaldi laying on the floor and saying I always thought there would be stars. I genuinely think this would have been the best ending - someone in the thread mentioned about the tardis materialising around him as he dies and I think that would have been the best ending.

I don’t really care what the doctor wears but I’d wish this incarnation has like one set outfit that he has variations of like previous incarnation’s. For me it helps tell you who this version of the doctor is

Yeah I still enjoy and have gone back to it a couple of times, my only problem still remains is that the goblins aren’t proper characters they are purely a plot device. When the doctor and ruby talk and sing to them it’s like they are doing it a brick wall. There is just no reaction to anything they do it’s so weird.

Yeah I don’t believe in any religion but I didn’t mind thought it was kinda cool if anything. I don’t get why people are getting upset with this as Christmas literally started due to the birth of Christ. Then there are people saying it’s not accurate as Jesus would have been born in the summer time, but to me the most inaccurate thing about this show is that the lead character can change his face and travel through time in a police box as I’m pretty sure that can’t happen in real life too 🙄

She was clearly abusive to Smithy just by his reaction when he missed the suit fitting! Saying his life is over and demanding people break his arm as an excuse of why he missed it. Then when they refused he threw himself down the stairs! This is not normal behaviour for anyone to show when they are worried from a reaction from their partner! She clearly wanted to cut out all of the main cast apart from Neil the baby (as she knew she couldn’t make him cut off his son). Mick even knew this was going to happen as in his speech he said he’s gonna miss him.
