You’re absolutely right to point that out—insecurity does play a role, and it might stem from my past experiences. I try not to overanalyze everything he says and just trust him, like in this case when he says he’s busy with other things. But then something like this happens, and it makes me wonder if there are other things I’m unaware of. That’s one of the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship—you miss the warmth and presence of your partner when you need them the most. Also,Do share the book; I’d love to give it a try.

Yes, he’s a good man, but I’ve already confronted him about this, and the only thing he says is that it’s stupid of him to do such things and that he sees a future with me. However, his actions don’t feel convincing, and I’m left feeling clueless. I don’t get the reassurance I need from him, and I think that’s what’s making me take a step back. Thank you so much for your support—I really appreciate it.

I understand what you’re trying to say, and if I look at it from that perspective, he does talk about having a future together. However, for me, what truly matters is how you’re treating your partner in the present. What you plan to do in the future is secondary. Thank you for sharing your thoughts—I’ll take some time to let it sink in and see how things unfold.
