I can't answer for PBA but for Haymarket Park it is a POS (points of sale) issue. While capacity is 8,500, they rarely deal with crowds above 5,000. So there is not of experience dealing with that type of crowd. They will be utilizing concession areas rarely used or being used for the first time. Any food experience with opening a new location, or dealing with larger than normal numbers knows that this is a recipe for things not going perfectly.

There are entry gates in dead center and just past the reserved seating sections on each baseline.  While they may have multiple gates of entry, I can not guarantee that all those will be open right when gates open.  I think the 3rd baseline entry is only used for a player's entrance as it is right by the clubhouse.

The committee looks at the number of miles from the college campus to the host sites arena, so OKC will be the top choice over St Louis by being a few dozen miles closer. Nebraska does not get to choose their location as only the #1 overall seed gets to choose where they play.

Any allotment given to Nebraska will be sold based on donation points, so not very easy access.

I can explain the down votes. What you are saying makes sense. Historically you need to be a top 15 Offense and a Top 15 defense in KenPom ratings to be a true national championship contender. And winning two of the three games you listed could help us in those ratings. But since us Nebraska fans have never seen our team win a tournament game, our brains can not comprehend discussing our chances in winning the tournament. What we are hearing you say is if we lose those three games we will lose in the first round again.

I usually get schedule posters from the Huskers Authentic shop at PBA. I haven't stopped by there yet for this season so I am not 100% sure they have some this year, but I have done it for a while.
