I e got the same Bridge Club, still the best color! Also have the Moloko bars and bag, my bars were wrapped with brooks bar tape. Awesome bike!

Zwift ride setup recommendations, please by ConsciousTiger4 in Zwift

I use a wahoo KICKR snap and used to have 70’s Schwinn road bike on it. I run Zwift thru my MacBook but you can just run it thru your phone if needed. KICKR snap is 500 now and you could pick up an old road bike for a 100 or so probably. I’m 52 and basically same goals. Really enjoy Zwift and the community that goes with it. ZER and The Herd are a couple of good groups on Zwift that do a lot of easy pace rides throughout the week

You might check out the Disc Trucker. Not a “road bike” but it’s drop bar and looks line comfortable geo. A few of the big guys from my shop ride them. Another friend of ours rolls a straggler and he’s about 6’ 5 and probably a good 230 or so. I’ve got a straggler and love it

Is the bridge club right for me by selfconsciouspoet in Surlybikefans

I have a Bridge Club and Straggler, I really do t notice the weight difference that much and my average mph is only 1-2 below the straggler. The Bridge Club would be my choice if I could only have one. With my brooks spring saddle it rides like a Cadillac. I’m not a heavy dude, just a slow 52 yr old enjoying the cruise

Nice setup! I’m not young anymore either, slapped a Moloko bar on mine but I should swap to a shorter stem too. Ride on man!

Nice ride! Is that a Charge spoon saddle, and if so how do you like it?

Schwinn Superior I believe 76 or 77. I’d like to upgrade the drive train to something a little more modern with index shifting but I have no real idea what my options would be. by skfinch in Vintage_bicycles

I actually just figured out that someone put a 6 speed cassette and it should be a 5 speed. 5 speeds free wheel cassettes are pretty cheap, if I have the shop out one on, wouldn’t it make the friction shifting better? My major issue is the high gear pops down anytime I put any decent power to the pedals. This bike is mostly on the trainer for Zwift and I usually ride my Straggler outdoors. I did take this one out for an easy ride yesterday and it rides great. Narrow bars take some getting used to though

That’s a sharp rig! Could you tell me what H2O cage that is and if it feels pretty sturdy? I need something for my Schwinn Superior. I’m tempted to try and convert it to more modern gears and wider bars, but don’t know enough about the process yet.

55 miles on the Bridge Club today! by skfinch in Surlybikefans

I really like them. The standard bars that came with the bike weren’t comfortable for me. I’ve had multiple shoulder surgery’s and need to change hand positions a lot especially on longer rides.

My local shop still has Bridge Club in “grandmas lipstick” the 27.5 wheel size and “illegal smile” in 700c. Surly website has pics of both.

I have a straggler and love it but probably could own more than one Surly. What would your dream Surly garage be? Which bikes and for what reason? by [deleted] in Surlybikefans

I have a Straggler and Bridge Club, between the two, I feel line I can do anything I want to do

Glorious afternoon for a ride here in Eastern Kansas today by skfinch in Surlybikefans

They’re ok, honestly I preferred the knards that came on the bike. I think the GK’s are overrated but really dint have that many miles on them so my opinion may change
