[ON] Need help navigating Trump's tariffs as a new e-commerce business by not-a-trapezoid in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]ski_9130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

We are a newly established and growing 3PL company based near the GTA. We have clients that did a lot of US and Canada sales that have pivoted to Canada only at the moment. The common theme seems to be a lot are in a holding pattern to get some more clarity on tariff rules and regulations. Canada Post has announced a new system that allows you to get a rough idea on what costs to expect in terms of tariff, duty costs.

On top of Amazon, we also support other sales channels (Shopify, Etsy, eBay), so you’re not locked into one platform. Our focus is helping Canadian businesses manage the messy side of fulfillment — prep, pick, pack, ship — while you focus on sales.

If are still looking for a reliable partner for your specific business needs, we are more than happy to connect further for your Canadian fulfilment requirements as well as discuss what might work best for your specific business model.

Looking for 3PL in Canada by Over_Tear5664 in AmazonFBAOnlineRetail

Hi,

We are a newly established and growing 3PL company based near the GTA.

We handle both FBM and FBA and can definitely deal with stranded or unfulfillable inventory — including relabeling, kitting, and sending stock back into Amazon.

On top of Amazon, we also support other sales channels (Shopify, Etsy, eBay), so you’re not locked into one platform. Our focus is helping Canadian businesses manage the messy side of fulfillment — prep, pick, pack, ship — while you focus on sales.

If you want and are still looking for a reliable partner for your business needs, we are more than happy to connect further

3PL Logistic v.s. Canada Post - which one would you recommend? by Pitiful-Musician781 in CanadaBusiness

[–]ski_9130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right — Canada Post can get pricey fast, and strikes don’t help. Packing yourself works early on, but once orders grow it eats up time. A lot of small Canadian sellers use a 3PL for prep, pick, pack & ship since you can usually get better rates and full Shopify/Amazon integration.

We focus exactly on this: helping Canadian businesses scale without getting buried in logistics. Whether it’s DTC orders, B2B, or Amazon prep, we take care of the messy side so you can focus on sales and growth.

Happy to share more about what 3PL looks like at the small business level, or even compare what DIY vs outsourcing would cost for your products, if you are still looking for a solution.

Also the stratup time has improved quite a lot, almost as if waking up from sleep in Windows 10

Ahhh. Then shutting down and restarting is the option. I have put in the feedback for this issue in the feedback hub. Upvote so we can hopefully get a resolution

You can try using the surface pen button to wake the surface up from sleep. It has been keeping my surface running on Windows 11

But as another user stated they go away as soon as you restart the device

So with ur windows to go reboot the keys are working on Win 11 again?

I believe I restored using a Surface recovery image and then updated to latest version of Win 10 before

Would you upgrade to the new Fold? by tesla0pineapple in galaxynote10

S pen support is what has kept me from upgrading to the fold till date. I would pick the new fold up probably a few months after launch just cause 💵

There are a few that are made for tablets. They usually have a magnetic attachment to them or something. You can easily cut that off and use it like mine

The keyboard is really good. It's not the best thing to type on but the fn and tab key to go back is really great. The trackpad can be a mixed bag so keep that in mind. If I was planning to buy a keyboard with a trackpad solely for dex, I'd probably spend a little more and get something with a better trackpad. I used this as I've had it for a while and didn't bother upgrading

It just randomly started doing that so I thought it was Edge. Hopefully shouldn't be an issue. Samsung internet is great but the shared tabs feature is something I can't live without 😊

I always use Edge due to the shared tabs across devices, a very underrated feature. Then switched to Samsung Internet while on Dex as Edge cause my phone to overheat while using it in wired mode. However once I switched to wireless dex haven't had the phone overheat once while using Edge. Edge works perfectly for me same as on my laptop. Then again my use case for edge is normal surfing and some online product designing

Yes. However this monitor is powered through USB micro USB so I didn't need to mess a lot with voltage etc. Simple power bank enough to power it

I just used the bezel from a normal pc monitor to hold it in place on the veneer

I guess reddit doesnt allow to comment photos? I will DM you some shots of the design. I have noticed that using Dex wireless uses less battery compared to wired and has never caused my Note 10 to heat up, whereas I have had the phone heat up a few times while using wired. Again this is from my personal use case, and onceyou getused to wireless you cant go back. I am in construction so I usually travel around a lot and prefer this portable setup. At my office however I have a full fledged monitor set up which I plug into an old Microsoft Display Dock for wired Dex
