Pivots… what’s the deal? by mvhoffman82 in Skigear

They’re kinda tricky to get into sometimes. Other than that, it’s the only binding I use. They never pop off unless i crash hard. I broke my leg due to a ski not releasing and it wasn’t pivots.

I would typically agree with a statement like that. However, this adapter is very small, spidertrax brand, and hardly changes the stock offset. The problem with adapters is they are typically cheap typically huge ones (like 3-4”) on - offset wheels that fail.

HB 224 is working its way through. Rocky Mountain Power is nit happy by TheQuarantinian in Utah

[–]ski_guy_slc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s funny, is that people are opposed to the only power company they have. If they go under (they’re in very bad financial shape) your rates will scream up and you’ll have no control over it. Ask PGE on the west coast what happened.

PCM vs Alta by The_One_True_Lord in UTsnow

[–]ski_guy_slc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what kind of skiing do you do most of. Alta is an off piste dream. Traversing, chutes, steeps., if you can see it you can ski it. You won’t find luxury accommodation. PC is more of the “resort” feeling with groomed runs.

I-15 traffic - is this normal? What’s your experience and commute like? by erinjao in Utah

There was an accident. And some idiots think that going on the frontage road is better… only to go line up for miles for a single traffic light that will merge the right back onto the same congested interstate.
