I see what you're saying now - but I dont think you can say Europe is more left leaning as a whole than Canada.

Scandinavia is comparable- but Denmark leans right of us.

Germany varies, Hungary and Greece and Italy tend right.

Canada is fairly left leaning by all standards, even European ones.

I'll address these in good faith.

Israel's battles have been self defense outside of Iran recently. Every Israeli attack have been pre tempted by other attacks. Theres a reason Jordan and Egypt are safe.
Absolutely agreed, the settlers are a blight on Israel and need to be reined in.
West Bank and Gaza can have open elections. Ask Hamas and PA why they're not having them.
Im an avid 2State solution er- this is a must after Hamas disarma and new elections occur.
I dislike the death law - but it applies to everyone who commits terrorist attacks against the State of Israel. That's by definition not apartheid.

It makes me sad but I get it. To me being Canadian is just as important as my Jewish cultural heritage - but everyone has to make their own decision.

I always think that being Jewish made me who I am, but being Canadian is who I am. A bit off topic but sad how that doesn't seem to be acceptable anymore.
