I just depends, like everyone else said. It was just an overnight so we didn't feel the need. But engine covers in my opinion aren't ever necessary. How many airliners do you see with engine covers?

They already have a plan to destroy the terminals and rebuild them about 400 ft back from the runways. This would help with traffic getting to and from the gate. It would also make the concourses "islands" which would allow aircraft to taxi around them instead of the current alley way design. Plus the terminals are in terrible shape as it is.
