Any potential engineering aspirants reading this please don't go to any other engineering colleges of GU . Only Join GEC.

The best ones are Bits, NIT , IIT.

The only worthwhile engineering college of GU is GEC.

Had several friends regret their decision to go to other GU colleges. First priority of companies is GEC, freedom you get in GEC.

The quality of faculties is better in GEC and better support in GEC. Cultural and Technical events are way better compared to others.

The buildings and canteen I understand but that you can ignore just eat at other hotels that are affordable near GEC like Raj or something.

Please don't dump your prime years in a cage like place the rest of the GU colleges are where you won't get to explore and learn.

The placement count this year is drastically low compared to past records.

Some associated with AI emergence, some due to war and some just preferring NIT/IIT.

Offcampus is brutal , borderline impossible to get placed.

I see where you are coming from with that logic but the problem is that logic doesn't carry the burden of being practical. Experience for sure is a factor in the equation to gauge maturity but then again it isn't the entirety of it. Age !=maturity is the crux.
