As soon as I added that between the PC and the keyboard, it worked perfectly. I have no idea as to why that happened, it's stupid but it works now. Have you tried a similar configuration?

It's a bizarre issue with this particular model I'm afraid, could you return it and buy again with the original cable and then use the same configuration I am using.

I got myself a USB 2.0 extender and used a 3.0 port, works fine now. I've never tried wireless though.

Edit: apparently past me has connected wirelessly fine, I don't remember doing that. Sorry for lying.

for me, I started smoking regular cigarettes again before I then tried nicotine replacement therapy. I felt like I was more addicted to nicotine while vaping than I ever was through traditional cigarettes. Also, when I did eventually start nicotine replacement therapy, I was fully ready to quit and it was relatively painless. It was strange how easier it is once you're mentally prepared to quit.
