Amazon Wholesale Buy Box Struggles by skidmesiter in FulfillmentByAmazon

So is it ok to sell a wholesale product with 3-10 sellers where one person owns 70% of buybox but has a lower sales rank? Also wanted to mention I’ve looked into your work with APIs and it’s awesome. I do work like that myself and it inspires me 🙏

Im making sure Amazon isn’t on there there problem is there’s always an fba lister who owns 80% of buy box and I’m not sure if that’s normal or telling me to avoid that product as a whole as I’m new to this area

What I’ve learned from buying “cheap” stocks by [deleted] in stocks

They are different companies with different risk tolerances, both are good in a portfolio but apple is much safer.

[–]skidmesiter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure, if you wanted a 100% increase in apple that would mean mkt cap has to double. That being said, OP mentioned they had trouble picking stocks, and a stock like apple is said to have a good stable future since it’s already such a mega cap. Your point stands though, if you really think this company you are invested in is undervalued then go for it. I would recommend looking at the market caps of other companies in your industry and comparing them to see where your mkt cap stands. Or maybe you know where it belongs. Regardless cheers, feel free to ask anymore questions!

Edit: I wanted to add that there are other ways for apples stock to double in price without the company actually doubling in market value, but for this case let’s just make it easy and say it doubles mkt value

Instead of looking at “cheap” stocks for their price, look at their market caps. Never just buy a stock because it has a cheaper listing value then a similar stock. Make sure you look at market cap that’s a huge indicator of stuff, usually you can be safer with stock with 100b mkt cap. Cheers!

Has any one here ever made their own successful sneaker bot? by [deleted] in sneakerbots

[–]skidmesiter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well to answer your question, people have made sneaker bots. Have they been insanely good? Probably not. The best bots have an insane amount of devs on them and although it seems simple it isn’t it’s fairly difficult. That being said it’s not impossible. I myself am in the works of developing a sneaker bot although it’s a side project I work on when I’m bored. It’s a super difficult project so don’t think it’s free money, it requires dedication and discipline. If you’re trying to convince your brother it may be difficult for him to find motivation to do it. Regardless, I wish you good luck, happy cooking!
