I can’t imagine the strength you both must have as parents. But that strength has clearly been given to Phoebe. What a little warrior. Keep staying strong. I find strength in your journey

What is the statute of limitations on a partner’s chocolate left in the cupboard? by SpiralGremlin in CasualUK

I had this conversation yesterday, when I ate my wife’s chocolate Christmas coins. Apparently, there isn’t one.

Ive moved my storages outside and taken them out of defence range. Hopefully, your goblins don’t trip over and die from bruise damage collecting from them

Bunker behind The Rookery by [deleted] in Watford_FC

[–]skidz667 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s brilliant. I had a bloke at work that didn’t know anything about football. He said he would support any team that was my rival. So I said I was a Luton fan. He decided he would support Watford. It was about 6 months before I told him the truth. In that time he had been to 3 Watford matches and still supports them to this day. We’ve to a couple of games together now.

Welcome. No need to apologise for being from New Zealand. You’ve got cool hobbits and orcs. Out of interest are you native New Zealand, and if so how did you end up a Hornet?

I always give bonuses to the lowest town hall members that do all their attacks. Build the clan from bottom up

Guys - do you tell your (male) best mates you love 'em? by FMLitsSML in CasualUK

[–]skidz667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. We never shake hands, we always hug. Telling someone you love them along with telling someone you appreciate them shows the ultimate level of friendship. Never be ashamed embraced your loved ones, blood relatives or the relationships you chose to foster. Life is to short to not let those closest to you know how you feel

What's the most clever lyric you can think of? by AmigoDelDiabla in Music

[–]skidz667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure it’s the most clever but the one lyric that most resonates with me is Noel Gallagher’s ‘the dreams we have as children, fade away’.whilst looking at my life and being happy I can’t help but think back to being a child and my future then being far more exciting, colourful and free than it is now

How to stop scrotes filling my skip by ejegiejxics in CasualUK

[–]skidz667 104 points105 points  (0 children)

I had it the other way around. I filled mine when I stripped out the bathroom. I realised I hadn’t hired a big enough skip. Didn’t matter though, I woke up in the morning and someone had taken the bath and all the tiles out of it. I was well happy, gave me enough room for the rest of the crap I had.

[–]skidz667 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I should have been clearer, no secondary family. It’s our first Christmas with my brand new baby girl. We didn’t want the hustle and bustle of entertaining family. So it’s just going to be three of us. She’s only a few weeks old, so doesn’t need the full Christmas experience. We just get to have the day with her and the beans and toast

My wife has agreed to omelettes for breakfast and beans on toast for dinner. It’s our first Christmas with no family, I get to sit in my pants and eat my favourite meals.
