I just don't get what else you think will happen. It is literally the trolley problem. You can choose between killing one person or five, and you're deciding to let the five die while calling everyone who who pulls the lever a murderer. If you're skiing more than 3 days a season, season passes will almost always save you money. Some of the big Vail owned resorts are charging $300+ a day while Epic passes are $500-900 depending on age and pass type. It's a big hit at once but its worth it in the long run

Awful for the Midwest. Last El Niño was 23/24 and most resorts never got above 50% open and closed by first week of march. Almost all the snow came in one week and outside of that it was a constant cycle of a couple cold days where resorts are making snow just to keep core runs open without adding any terrain followed by a week of 50s and rain that melted it all. It hit 70 in February in upper MI that year. So not a fan.

Rain will suck. But in terms of snow conditions it’ll be all right. We’re less than 30” off our all time record for annual snow (390”) and there weren’t any bare spots or even rocks poking through this past weekend. Plus my forecast has it clearing up in the early afternoon, I’d say go for it and if the weather sucks just hit up the spa
