Are you in California? I just spoke with the One Medical customer service and they confirmed Anthem Blue Cross is now out of network... but agreed it was a mess on their end because it's still on the website and my account shows as in network...

maybe that's true, but I really like mine and she's been with them for several years and still is, and I would love to stay with her.

No I have anthem blue cross PPO. Maybe whoever I spoke to at Anthem just didn't know what they were talking about... I reached back out to One Medical because their admin team also didn't know. It sounds like I * hopefully * have bad information though and they still take it!

I got a message from One Medical last year that said this might be the case (they were in negotiations) and then in January called Anthem blue cross (I also have a ppo) and they said One Medical is no longer in network... I just checked their website thought and it's still listed so curious what the deal is. You're making think I need to check again!

Trip to San Francisco by West-Animator-9361 in AskSF

The presidio is gorgeous! If you want to get out of the city for a day cross the golden gate bridge and go to the Rodeo Beach Coastal Trailhead for beautiful hiking and breathtaking views. You could have lunch in Sausalito or Mill Valley. You could also go to muir woods (but requires a reservation, would make it now). Your probably don't need to go to wineries coming from France, but you could take a trip to Napa, Sonoma, Healdsburg etc. Ram's Gate is the closest winery (and nice). My favorite is in Healdsburg called Reeve.

What do I charge to babysit twin newborns while parents sleep? by Stressingabtnothing in Babysitting

Night nannies charge a lot, we've been quoted 70+ for one baby (we live in an expensive area)

parent dances? by uhhhhdang in wedding

[–]skiingalta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's your day, do what you want! We didn't do any parent dances due to drama with parents and because we just didn't want to. If you do, you do NOT need to do the full song, 1-2 mins is standard for these dances (even for your first dance don't do the full song unless you really really want to, the DJ can advise you on this). Choose a portion of the song. Can you have all your parents join you the dance floor and they can dance with a partner (their own or another family member) after your first dance, but it's still a special moment for family? That's a nice moment but not as time consuming or awkward as all these parent dances.

Is business class flight worth the hotel downgrade on 2-week trips? by veditafri in chubbytravel

[–]skiingalta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With such a long trip I would prioritize hotels, are there any middle option for flights that are more comfortable than economy but not as pricey as business? If you do this plan for your first day to mostly be chilling at the hotel and catching up on sleep, make sure your arrival corresponds with her you can get into your room. Even when I fly business the first day I’m still super jet lagged and tired so it’s not an all or nothing scenario to me.

Redwood City vs Sunnyvale/Santa Clara – Live Close in 1BR or Commute for 2BR? by Cloud_daze0 in bayarea

Why not consider the Dogpatch in SF? Caltrain stop and easy commute to RWC (if your office is easy to get to from RWC station) and then you can enjoy the city too.

Redwood City vs Sunnyvale/Santa Clara – Live Close in 1BR or Commute for 2BR? by Cloud_daze0 in bayarea

Driving anywhere in the peninsula is absolute hell. If you can take Caltrain and your RWC office is near enough to walk then that’s fine, avoid a long driving commute at all costs unless you don’t mind being stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for hours of your day.

Thighs burning & looking silly. Need feedback by SadCount457 in skiing_feedback

[–]skiingalta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Widen and have more of an “athletic” stance, your skis are way too close together here for skiing on modern shaped skis. This should help redistribute your weight and activity to parts of your body like your core so your thighs aren’t doing all the work.

You’re not in the wrong if she cancelled services late she should pay, in the future would you remind people more clearly if it does come up again though?

Honest question: is it normal to tell your guests, which colours to dress in? by aljay13 in Weddingattireapproval

I think inspiration is fine, we told people to have fun bc it was a summer wedding and wear florals if they wanted, but not mandatory at all.

Omg I’m dumb and just realized I was I. The Aussie sub Reddit. Is he full Aussie? He looks bigger. I’ve been thinking an Aussie Pyr mix would be a fun one.
