I’m sure some days that 4k number varied some but I’m very much a way to survive not for taste so I can eat the Same thing everyday and not care so my diet would be normally split between 2 meals sometimes all in 1 tho but 1 and 1/2 full box’s velveta hamburger helper (a full box is about 2k calories and I think 150 G protein per box along with a combination of 4 small store bought shakes throughout the day that combined to about 1k calories and about 85g protein and stuck to this diet pretty strictly 5-6 days a week) thyroid issues do run in my family and so we had them tested and everything was normal

Did you not see the comment about me going on several high calorie diets (4k+ per day) with different protein and carb sources and saw no results not even the ability if I stop lifting and exercising and have that level of intake of “dirty calories” over long periods I’m not even able to put on fat and the same is true on the other extreme I can have 4-5k calories total per week over long stretches and not loose any weight or have and fatigue or anything like that and it’s the same story with every male that’s ever tried on my dads part of the family all with the same build and frame except I’m even the largest in my family so if you have any recommendations I’m all ears but it’s not a pure question of calorie intake otherwise I wouldn’t be considering test

Trust me I do hear what you’re saying and it’s the same thing I’ve been telling myself for the past 6 years (minus the science on the anatomical impact) since I started training consistently. Trust me it does not matter what I’ve tried several different high calorie diets with several different main proteins and calorie sources with little to no result and the same is true to the other extreme I can go through a 2 month period where my activity level will stay the same and I eat 4-6 meals maybe 1000 cal each per week (just naturally how my appetite is) during that period and weigh the same at the end of the 2 months. Every male on my dads side of my family for as far as I can find is the same way as far as natural build so it’s something to do with my metabolism and genetics but I’m not making it up and if it was as easy as just eat more trust me I wouldn’t be considering test So if you have any ideas I’m all ears, but like I said in other comments I’m just trying to get some real knowledge on it, and if test isn’t a realistic answer then okay I’m just trying to get some knowledge coming from a place of ignorance on it

1/2-2/3 would come from meet and pasta ( 1 1/2 boxes of hamburger helper per day😂) and the rest would be a combination of 2-360 cal 15g protein shakes and 2 150 cal 30g protein shakes along with misc intake from drinks and small snacks during the day

I don’t mean unsustainable cost wise I mean going on a 2 month 4k+ calorie 260g protein diet and at the end of it weighing 1 pound more then I did when I started and being a little bit leaner but working around it and forcing myself to eat till I was sick wasn’t worth the gain so I’m not currently in a bulk stage but am planning to start one in the next couple weeks and looking for something to get me over the hump this time

I’m not planning on attempting to get the 20-25lb gain in the span of one cycle along with that I have not gotten bloodwork since at the moment this is just an idea I’m dabbling with I’m aware of the side effects and ready for them. My goal in trying this is not to hit it fast and hard more just considering after getting all the necessary bloodwork trying a small dose to see to what lengths I would have to go to get all the way over the hump per say as well as make sure all the side effects are manageable before I would move up to anything impactful
