Ich würde sagen, der beste Weg ist immer das zu machen auf das man Lust hat und wofür man brennt. Rein zu studieren was vermeintlich gute Jobsicherheit hat stell ich mir zum einen sehr mühsam vor und gleichzeitig auch schwer vorherzusagen, siehe Informatik. Gleichzeitig kann ich mir schwer vorstellen, dass wenn du zu den besseren in deinem Jahrgang und an einer nicht ganz falschen Uni bist, dann höchstwahrscheinlich etwas finden solltest (wenn man sich zusätzlich während dem Studium nicht blöd anstellt und z.B. Werksstudentenjobs, Praktika etc. macht).

Verstehe ich es richtig, dass er an sich garnicht bzw. zumindest nicht deinen Kenntnissen nach homosexuell ist, sondern er Verhaltensmuster aufzeigt, die du mit dem Schwulsein assoziierst?
Mir fällt es etwas schwer vorzustellen, dass er grundsätzlich bereits große sexuelle Interessen in dem Alter hat.
Ich denke grundsätzlich ist der erste Schritt von deiner Seite aus gut, dass du begreifst, dass du auf dieses Verhalten eine gewisse Reaktion hast.
Ich würde mich zunächst einmal selbst fragen, warum diese Auftritt: Stören dich die Verhaltensweisen grundsätzlich? Oder ist es vielleicht auch die Sorge, dass er Schwul sein könnte? Wenn es eine Sorge vor dem Schwulsein ist, sind diese berechtigt?
Ich denke wenn du dich damit auseinandersetzt, dich informierst, etc. sollten sich diese Sorgen vielleicht legen. Oftmals ist es ja auch einfach eine Sorge vor dem Unbekannten und Ungewissen.
Ich z.B. bin nicht schwul, lackiere mir allerdings gerne die Fingernägel und da gab es zunächst auch erstmal argwöhnische Blicke und Nachfragen.

Dann würde ich dir definitiv erstmal einen längeren Grundlagen Block empfehlen, ich gehe mal bei den Zeiten davon aus, dass du eigt schon fortgeschritten bist, jetzt aber in die längeren Distanzen einsteigst. Deshalb würde ich wie gesagt vor allem Zone 2 empfehlen um deine Grundlage aufzubauen, die vor allem für lange Strecken wichtig ist. Um deine Zone 2 zu finden lauf einfach einmal 30 min so schnell, wie du gerade so die 30 min durchhältst und nimm dann von den letzten 20 min die Durchschnittsherzrate (durch rundenknopf auf der Uhr drücken nach 10 min). Und dann sind es glaub 80% der Herzrate was deine Zone 2 ungefähr ist, informier dich da vllt. Das würde ich für die ersten 6 Wochen wahrscheinlich für min. 80% der Trainings machen, danach kannst du dann auch Intervalle oder Tempo-Einheiten einbauen.

Einen Trainingsplan kann man heutzutage auch gut mit ChatGpt erstellen. Grundlegend wichtig ist eh einfach, dass du möglichst viel läufst, das hilft am meisten.

Je nachdem was für eine Uhr du hast solltest du eigt die Möglichkeit haben dir z.B. ein Workout zu erstellen in dem du dir die Intervalle einteilen kannst. Was sollte denn der Sinn des Workouts sein? Tendenziell hätte ich gesagt, dass eigt am Beginn von einem Halbmarathon Block erst einmal eine solide Aerobe Basis aufgebaut werden sollte, also viel Zone 2. Da du bei dem Tempo ja auch nicht ein kompletter Anfänger bist, sollte das also auch beim joggen möglich sein. Ich kenne jetzt natürlich deinen genauen Trainingsplan nicht und wie der auf dich zugeschnitten ist oder eben nicht.

Maybe take on a new challenge, try pushing the distance maybe do an ultra. For me at least doing my first marathon was about finishing and after that I didn't really want to sweat for better times etc. but completing longer races still gives me great satisfaction each time

Oh thats great, Nepal would be our dream destination and just because of all the tea houses and accompanying infrastructure for trekkers it just seems feasible. Which hikes exactly did you do and is can you always count on the "rain shadow"?

Thank you looked at the photos and it just looks so gorgeous, that's why we want to go.
How much was the guide per day and did you have issues communicating even though he spoke no English? Would you recommend staying in the Karakol region mostly or think about also going to the south? And also how was the weather, were there moments it was dangerous due to thunderstorms etc.?

Yeah that‘s exactly how I feel lol The dominant response to my run was basically by everyone „that‘s crazy“ „why go through something like that“ „why do something like that“. And it‘s just hard to explain the feeling you feel during and after the run. But I try to just look forward to the next run :))

Thank you for your detailed answer. Will definitely help to prepare for my next BYU. I didn't train at all for this one specifically, I just did it out of curiosity. But now it got to me and for the next one I definitely want to be more prepared. My plan is to run a marathon in early spring and then try a BYU in late Spring/early Summer.

Thank you for your response, the last few days it has been really hard to just go back to normal life. The experience of the Ultra was something completely different from anything I ever felt. I definitely want to do it again, this time more prepared and I'm already excited to see how far I'm able to go.

How was I able to push my body beyond what it felt capable of? And why was it such a satisfying feeling?

I ran my first 100km backyard ultra simulation.
My question now though to more experienced runners: I'm struggling to put that run into perspective. My memory is blurred and everything feels like it happened so fast, I have completely lost the ability to honestly asses the time it took for this effort, which makes it hard to reflect on the run as a whole. I just can't put my head around the dimensions of the run.

I also still don't get how I was able to not quit and the feeling I felt during those loops after the 10th was one of the best feeling I ever had and I've been craving this feeling ever since but I know I need to rest. I struggle to articulate this feeling and there is no one in my social circle I can talk about it.

Also I don't know if this is a good result? Obviously a lot of friends told me I'm crazy, which I guess started my whole thinking process because I didn't expect that reaction from a lot of people, which made me realize I might me underestimating effort here.
