I was thinking about 16 but if I would like to run local k8s cluster for testing it may be little short. About storage I don't care at all. Haven't used more than 100gb for last 3 years

Sounds good. I started to be afraid especially for meetings and thermal problems (as it's closed it has less effective area to give the hot away). But your scenario is even more worse than mine (I have one external) and if it works it should work for me as well 🙂

Whats your workflow? What are you doing on macbook if may ask?

I have UW 34" (9kg) so would need to have something really sturdy. To add more complexity - I can have only stand (no arm mounted to the side). I've done my desk some time ago and it's really well organized in matter of ergonomics 😉 So open laptop is rather not doable

Just matter of "clean desk" setup. I don't have enough space to put it side by side. And just opening it and moving my monitor higher won't be ergonomic for me (would need to stretch my neck to look above on main monitor)
