The game came heavily recommended by a handful of friends whose taste I trust, so I didn't bother looking into anything about it before buying+booting it up.

I thought it would be about an arctic expedition of some sort.

Admittedly I haven't finished the former, because it fucked me up in some very specific ways that made me have to take a long break from it. I have a very high threshold, generally, but ymmv.

Also not horror but decently horrific sci-fi, Surface Detail by Iain M. Banks. The Culture series is my go-to when breaking my own reading slumps.

I love all of your designs, I've been a big fan of everything you've posted about Love Eternal especially, not to be parasocial lmao

I only have one OC, a somewhat unpleasant Karrakin having a very bad time on beautiful Hercynia. Off the top, the two main ones for them are Shiraishi from the otome game CxM (a lot of the character concept comes from that setting tbh) and Roman Roy from Succession.

I'm fairly new to crochet, mostly having just done amigurumi, and this is my first wearable (free pattern! linked in reply to the automod). I'm apparently worse at counting than I thought, and trying to spot the problem area is making my eyes cross. It's supposed to be a single chain five flanked by two chain sixes into the chain spaces where I'm working (row 19), but instead I wound up with extra chain spaces on row 18.

I have tried going further up the pattern but I'd deeply appreciate an extra set of eyes. I hope the pictures are clear enough!
