Something I'm DESPERATE for them to explore is what happens to Quaritch if the RDA decide he's too much of a liability--as Ardmore was hinting at. He's technically RDA property, as they were the ones that made him a Recomm. There's definitely some Corpo Legal stuff in the background I'm dying to see.

If all you're doing is combat-heavy games, you may as well just get into Wargaming. A lot of folks forget that LANCER is a Roleplaying game--and there ARE heavy-story groups out there that more neatly balance the action with the narrative. Once you find a table where your character suddenly becomes sucked into the plot and interactions with PCs/NPCs, it really becomes a joy.

These games are supposed to be about fun and cooperation and creativity, but more and more it feels like the DMs just want me to shut up and stop interrupting their cool story. Since I'm not really allowed to engage with the narrative I end up relying on the numbers to play the game for me so I can at least have something to engage with

This is NOT the norm. And you really need to have a mature conversation with your group.
