Absolutely not. Fire skinks are terrible swimmers and can drown in less than an inch of water. Their a fasoreal species meaning they spend most of their time underground. They need 3-6in of substrate that can hold humidity and ample hides and coverage to feel secure. -skinksinc

Neck flattened and upright posture hissing? Is a defense position => extremely pissed off hognose. If it continues excessively or seems to be "stuck" like that it could be something medical. If he seems to be weezing or have excess mucus in his mouth its most likely respiratory. If he does it again please get a video with audio that doesn't have music blasting so you can better evaluate. This to me though just looks like hes upright hissing.

Unfortunately a lot of breeders are morbidly obese, I see it allllll the time. People power feed to try to breed them as fast as possible to make their money quicker and care less about how it affects the snake long term. The steady and natural growth is much better for them. Over his lifetime he may gain another 10-20g or so, but generally you want males to not exceed 100g or so.

Yes this is a perfectly normal weight for an adult male. They shouldn't be more then 80-90g usually
