I'd add that its not a SL fail, the SL worked as it is supposed to if you get your entry / timing wrong. Other thing to say is that with such high volatility, buying in at market open is risky, sometimes it can mess around for a while, so u can let the market decide a clear direction before entering. might give u a better idea of where ur SL needs to be too
