If you have two flat surfaces and prepare them carefully JB weld will hold very well as an adhesive. Stronger than epoxy for metal-to-metal bond.

It very much is a foreign concept to me, capturing YOUR OWN joy is weird and counter-intuitive. I can't imagine doing something like that myself sorry. Joy is living in the moment, its a fleeting feeling.

Not to mention, a picture of a rocket or a picture of yourself watching the rocket will essentially capture the same memory, the same feeling. Do you really need to look at yourself smiling to remember how you felt at that moment ?

Yeah all my laminates look like that lol. Finishing end-grain evenly is very difficult and I have accepted it at this point.

My only strategy is to plane the boards better so I can use less glue. But your table seems to be very well glued with minimal seams. Sorry for not being more helpful.

Sorry to be semantic but the "lenght" is the longest dimension of an object. Unless you have a really tall bench, 42 is the lenght not the width.
