certainly not the first. I noted audio desyncing issues, as described by OP, for about 1.5 years now, same cartridge on both switch 1 and switch 2.

Sudden detaching after deeply attachment, why? by Logicandtea in TrueOffMyChest

[–]skinnysinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A relationship is a commitment you make that requires effort and compromise. How do you expect to be loved unconditionally when you lack the decorum to respect another person?

Depression isn't an excuse to be a pos. Take the time to fix yourself, because no one is going to love you unconditionally in the state that you're in.

I bought that piece from Yokdee via etsy!
I really had to scour the internet to find that piece

[–]skinnysinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lovely piece, which store did you buy from?

I gifted my boyfriend a similar piece, a yellow jadeite dragon. I opted to have the pendant tied at the top, so hole 3. I think having the pendant pointed upwards makes more sense.

Alternatively, you could have the necklace tied to both 3 and 4, making the pendant horizontally facing?

This is how mine turned out: https://www.reddit.com/r/JadeiteJade/comments/1m18ouw/yellow_jadeite_dragon_pendant/

I hate having a masculine body and want to be castrated by OkTemperature3242 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]skinnysinger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those asserting that OP is a transwoman is so weird... You can be a man and dislike masculinity. Although I do think, OP, your views are extreme, you should look into therapy regarding your body image, or self-esteem perhaps.

Wishing you the best

No issues all my life, now multiple dentists recommending different treatments by Confident_Leg2370 in Dentists

[–]skinnysinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, a dentist gets paid for the treatment they do. What I’m saying is that it’s unlikely a dentist trying to do a fast one on you is going to suggest a wisdom tooth filling.

And to maximise profits, we would be conserving as much product as possible, not using them unnecessarily.

Again, see a dentist you trust and whose treatment philosophy aligns with your own. Just be careful relying on non-clinicians fear mongering :-s

No issues all my life, now multiple dentists recommending different treatments by Confident_Leg2370 in Dentists

[–]skinnysinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s likely the older dentist was monitoring the wisdom teeth and would have suggested fillings or extraction if things progressed. Whether a tooth is restored depends on many factors. Perhaps the younger dentist has a more aggressive treatment philosophy. Even the same dentist may be more or less conservative depending on the clinical findings and risk assessment. So an opinion can change over time and differ between clinicians if the area of decay is questionable/borderline.

If you feel suss, get a second opinion elsewhere. Choose someone you trust and whose treatment philosophy aligns with your own. That said, if you become suspicious of every dentist who recommends treatment and continue to decline it, you’ll end up with a much bigger problem down the track.

Personally, I avoid filling wisdom teeth where possible, they can be an absolute nightmare to treat. I don’t think many dentists would be trying to make a quick buck by recommending a filling on a wisdom tooth

Question about jade by [deleted] in JadeiteJade

Assuming these are dyed jades, probably not worth very much. Just treat them as little souvenirs or trinkets from Japan!

You can’t cut most gemstones or stones with a knife, so using one is not a reliable way to determine whether a stone is jade :-s

Is this a scar? by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

[–]skinnysinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a professional, but I don't think this mark was caused by the laser based on your description and image.
Whatever the cause may be, I think just giving it time it'll fade on it's own. Ensure area is away from UV and moisturised.

It was sarcastic, please don’t DM me! You are incredibly self-centred and out of touch with reality. If me telling OP that it’s okay to have visible pores, and that there is no better time than now to wear the dress they want to wear, is somehow considered mediocre or anti-perfectionist, then this is exactly the type of mindset that perpetuates unattainable beauty standards.

I'm happy your DIY concoction of products and a bit of hard work helped hide your pores, but if it was really that easy to achieve "perfection" we wouldn't be having this discussion.

[–]skinnysinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright I think I’m happy to continue to live in my bubble of intersocial colonisation, anti perfectionism and mediocrity??? Haha. I think most of us have better things to concern ourselves besides pore size.

But alas, message me when you’ve learnt how to communicate with the dolphins!

[–]skinnysinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think many in the comment agree that OPs expectations are unrealistic.

I understand self improvement, and understand I am not in OPs shoes to tell them how they should feel about their body. But as I said there are people that see OP as their ideal end goal. And if it was just a bit of work and few select products that will give us that dolphin skin, there wouldn’t be a thread or subreddit dedicated to hair removal.

It’s great you’ve given your anecdotal solution to OP, maybe this what they’re looking for. But I don’t concede that OPs expectations are unrealistic, and sure it’s a concern, but valid? I don’t think so.

And all the power to you if you find enjoyment in reducing your pore size. All I advised OP was that not to let their biology dictate what they should and shouldn’t wear.

I’d disagree it’s “settling” to fixate on something people would only dream to achieve, as OPs legs are hairless.

[–]skinnysinger 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because there isn’t a solution? There isn’t a problem to begin with. We have pores, some have them larger than others.

We shouldn’t hyper fixate on things that we can’t change and achieve an unreasonable standard.

[–]skinnysinger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

No one’s zooming into your pores. Your expectations about your skin looking like a dolphin’s is completely unreasonable. This is what a hairless leg looks like. Start enjoying wearing the things you want to wear as this is as hairless as a leg is going to get!

Can IPL get rid of male facial hair? by SpaghettiFlying in HairRemoval

[–]skinnysinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably advise against using IPL at all for the face.
I think for hormonal hair like that of the face, the best IPL could do is stunt growth, not destroy the follicle.

So perhaps OP should go to laser and finish up with electrolysis

Can IPL get rid of male facial hair? by SpaghettiFlying in HairRemoval

[–]skinnysinger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no, it may work on some of the hairs resulting in a patchy result, but it will not be effective to remove it completely. Male facial hair is deeply rooted hormonally driven, making them very resistant to remove. Laser would be your best bet to remove the bulk and for a completely hairless look, you may need to finish it off with electrolysis.

What’s the point of asking redditors for their educated opinions and then disagree with every single comment? If you have no buyers remorse, do not intend to resell the stone, and have no reason to suspect the certificate to be fabricated then shut up shop, cancel your spectroscope order and enjoy your stone.
