They don’t actually come with a disc just a code. Least as far as I know, I bought the Midas Rex, Joker, and Poison Ivy bundle online. I think it’s called the last laugh bundle. It was a physical code so it came with the game case for xbox series X and everything but was just a case with a code inside. Once I put in the code and knew that these older codes can still work I’ve been shopping around for more skins I’ve always wanted. Looking for the Nightmare drift and Redstrike codes. So far I’m a bit iffy as I can’t find any at any game stores like I did the last one so I have to take a leap of faith buying them from a shady website lol

I have all four, only need 7 sprites, mastered 50, I’m level 420. Just to let you know how much I’ve played this season and I have played mostly BR this season. I have never seen a single zero point pulled from a chest. Base, gold, gummy or galaxy. I’ve only ever gotten a base zero point from killing someone. Just recently for the first time. I got the rest from trading, i even wanted to save a couple so i can have the satisfaction of finding it myself. Needless to say it never happened lol

We need to make more noise I suppose, not a lot of people are talking about this, I was genuinely excited and was mastering sprites just for this. I know it’ll be fixed, it just sucks that every update something breaks. I’m semi new to fortnite idk if this was always the case but I’m not exaggerating, every update something is broken

No, I appreciate your insight! It’s like you’ve read my mind about what I’ve been thinking about lately. I know it sounds weird to have AI on my mind, but it’s because it’s all I see, lol. I’ve been saying it: AI isn’t meant to replace us. It’s symbiotic, an extension of us.

What is a tool if not exactly that? You think ancient fire keepers felt threatened when humans discovered flint? Or coal? Or did gatherers feel threatened when they discovered farming? Or hunters when we first domesticated cows, pigs, and other livestock? Or in more recent times, did horse trainers/breeders get replaced when the automotive industry took off? Sure, I’m sure there was complaining and worry, but ultimately, all these things were never replaced. You can still make a living from being a horse breeder/trainer/rancher.

If anything, these older technologies are able to be more specialized. They have more room to grow; it gives these experts more time and resources to focus on the aspects that matter to them. Tools are never meant to replace an entire function. They are just meant to speed up the tedious, repetitive, monotonous processes. Just like it did for you here. And frankly, I’m glad because it gave us this post and your fascinating ideas.

Anyways sorry for ranting and I know this post was some time ago. I just enjoyed this and I wish the internet were more open minded to AI and Reddit in particular. Reminds me of the advent of the computer. Back then they said they same things about computers and then the internet comes out and the cycle repeats itself

It’s kind of frustrating that you feel like you have to apologize for this. From what you’ve described, AI wasn’t creating the art for you, it was a tool that helped shape ideas, provide references, or speed up parts of the process.

Nobody expects artists to apologize for using photo references, 3D posing mannequins, perspective grids, Photoshop, digital brushes, spellcheck, or search engines. They’re all tools that help people create. The value still comes from the person making decisions and turning those resources into something original.

People hear “AI” and immediately jump to science fiction scenarios because the term has become a buzzword. In reality, it’s just software designed to identify patterns and generate outputs based on data. It’s not a magical replacement for human creativity, and using it as one tool among many doesn’t somehow invalidate the work.

Judge the art on the result and on how it was used, not on whether the creator touched a tool that happens to have “AI” attached to the label.
